Communication Language and Literacy

The start of early communication and literacy are developed by handling books and recognising that words and pictures carry meaning and that certain sounds and patterns can be recognised. Each child will see advances in listening and talking as they develop the communication of their ideas and feelings. Early reading and writing skills are established to give all our children an advantage as they go on to school.
